For Christmas I received a Kitchen Aid Mixer, so of course I have been trying to use it all I can.  We had family over for New Years and made some appetizers and desserts.  One of the desserts I made in my new Kitchen Aid Mixer is this Best Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe.  I am not a huge fan of cookies, but I am telling you these are the best cookies I have ever eaten.  They are so soft, full of chocolate and huge!  These are a must try.  I love some soft cookies.

You don’t need a Kitchen Aid Mixer to make these, you can just use bowls, but using my new mixer was fun.  Here is the Kitchen Aid Mixer, there are so many fun colors!

The steps to the Best Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies are SO simple.
First, you will sift together the dry ingredients.
Then you will cream together the butter and sugars.
Next, add in the vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.
Add in the dry ingredient mixture.
Lastly add the chocolate chips, LOTS of chocolate chips.

Scoop out 1/4 cup size scoops, I use an ice cream scoop it makes the cookies all the same size for better baking.  bake at 350 for 15 minutes and then ENJOY.

We ate all of these within a couple hours. 🙂

These would be the perfect cookies for serving some ice cream on.  They are so thick and soft.  If we didn’t eat them all last night, I would definitely be eating them with ice cream and hot fudge today.

This recipe makes 11-12 cookies.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Sift together flour and baking soda in a mixing bowl, set aside.
  3. In a stand mixer or a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mix until light and blended.
  5. Add in dry ingredients a little at a time until full combined.
  6. Lastly, fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop 1/4 cup size scoops, I use ice cream scoop for uniform size, and put onto greased baking sheet. Leave 2 inches between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 15-16 minutes on 350.
  9. ENJOY!
