reduced-fat pork sausage
cut in half length wise, then thinly sliced
stems removed and chopped
Heat dutch oven/pot to medium heat. Cook sausage about 10 minutes until fully done. Then remove and set aside.
Add chicken broth, potatoes, onion and garlic salt to pot. Bring to a boil and cook about 20 mins, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are fork tender.
Add sausage back in, along with bacon bits. Cook 10 minutes to let flavors mix together.
At the end add kale and heavy cream, salt and pepper to taste. And ENJOY!
