Most people hear brussel sprouts and shout GROSS, but brussel sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables.

When I was in high school, I went over to a friends house and her parents were boiling brussel sprouts. I remember thinking how gross is smelled in their house and never wanting to eat brussel sprouts in my life.
Fast forward 10 years, I have tried brussel sprouts and I love them.
This bacon brussel sprouts recipe is my favorite vegetable recipe I have ever eaten. My husband says it’s his favorite recipe too!
Most the time when people tell me they don’t like vegetables, I go on to tell them that they probably don’t know how to cook them properly or in a delicious way.
I always hated vegetables growing up, but that is because most people boil them or make them bland and mushy. Not me!
I know how to cook a mean vegetable, so trust me. 🙂

Bacon Brussel Sprouts
This recipe is creamy, garlicy, bacony and ultimately delicious.
Creamy Brussel Sprouts with bacon is keto diet friendly, low carb and gluten free.
All you need for this recipes is a good nonstick skillet with lid, brussel sprouts, water, garlic salt, cream cheese, bacon bits, and heavy cream. That’s it.
You can use light cream cheese if you prefer. You can also use real bacon, I just like how easy this recipe is with the bacon bits! You can find real bacon bits pieces that taste delicious.
First, you will chop your brussel sprouts. Cut the ends off and slice them, making them the perfect bite size for this dish.
Then you will cook them in your skillet with a little bit of water. Using water instead if oil helps cook the brussel sprouts through and also eliminates unnecessary calories.
I like to keep this water tip in mind when I am cooking vegetables.
After they are cooked through, you will add your other ingredients, cook 5 minutes and EAT!
