No Bake Healthy Oatmeal Bars- with VeganSmart

My kids love any type of granola or oatmeal bar and sometimes I need a quick snack to grab on the go.  Making your own oatmeal bars couldn’t be easier.  I received VeganSmart All-in-one Nutritional shakes from Momsmeet to try and review, so I thought why not make a delicious recipe with the shakes.  My wheels got to turning and I came up with the No Bake Healthy Oatmeal Bars.

I also tried the VeganSmart All-in-one nutritional shakes by themselves, they are super delicious.  One reason I love these shakes is because they have all the good stuff like prebiotics, complete proteins, and none of the junk like artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.

Blend 2 scoops VeganSmart All-In-One Shake, 1 banana, 1 cup milk, and 1 cup ice in a high speed blender.  It tastes like a chocolate banana milkshake.  Feels like a treat but it’s actually good for you. 🙂

No Bake Healthy Oatmeal Bars

No bake healthy oatmeal bars

These bars are so simple to make.  You only need a couple kitchen tools, a blender, a mixing bowl and a 13×9 pan. Click here to see my favorite blender.  I use it everyday.

In this recipe I use hazelnuts because I love them, but you can also use almonds.  First, hazelnuts, honey, coconut oil, VeganSmart Nutritional shake, vanilla and salt all go into to blend.  Blend until smooth.  Then you will mix this with all the dry ingredients and that’s it!  Simple, right?

Put the mixture into a 13×9 inch pan and press down with wax paper to compact the oatmeal bars.  Put in the refrigerator for a couple hours to let every thing set.  Cut the No Bake Healthy Oatmeal Bars into 24 bars and then eat them!  You can wrap them in plastic wrap to enjoy later.

Instructions
  1. Place the first 6 ingredients into a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Place oats, coconut, chocolate chips and chia seeds into a large mixing bowl. Add in wet mixture from the blender.
  3. Mix together until well combined.
  4. Place into 13x9 inch pan and press down with wax paper.
  5. Refrigerate 2 hours then cut into 24 bars.
