Sweet and Spicy Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Sweet and spicy chicken wings in the air fryer give them the perfect juicy inside and crispy skin.
Preheat the air fryer at 380° for 5 minutes.
While your air fryer is preheating, dry your chicken. Then salt and pepper the chicken wings.
Place your chicken wings inside the air fryer without sauce.
Cook the chicken wings at 380° for 15 minutes.
In a small sauce pan, combine butter, honey, garlic, cayenne pepper, and hot sauce. Stir until all the ingredients are melted together. Pour your sauce into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Remove the chicken wings with tongs and place them into the sauce and mix them all around until fully coated. Save the extra sauce to re-coat halfway through the last cooking.
Place your chicken wings back into the air fryer for 10 more minutes at 380°. During the last few minutes re-sauce the wings and turn the heat up to 400°.
