Easy Halloween Treats
It’s almost Halloween! My kids love Halloween, they get to have candy and junk that they usually don’t get to have and dress up! I came up with 4 Easy Halloween Treats that are simple and quick. You can make them to enjoy at home or for a Halloween party. These would be the perfect easy Halloween treats for school as well.

Halloween Popcorn Bark
This Halloween popcorn bark is my favorite easy Halloween treat. It’s the easiest to make and so delicious. You can make this for any holiday or occasion, just change up with sprinkles and candy to match the holiday. Once you make this popcorn bark, put it into decorative Halloween bags.
Halloween Popcorn Ingredients:
-8 cups popcorn
–white chocolate melts
–Halloween Sprinkles , If you prefer artificial dye free sprinkles like we do, try these Naturally colored orange sprinkles.
–Reeces pieces (If you order these from canada they are dye free)
How to make Halloween Popcorn Bark
- Melt the white chocolate in 30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between, until completely melted. Or you can melt in a double boiler if you prefer.
- In a large mixing bowl pour the chocolate melts over the popcorn. Mix.
- Transfer to a cookie sheet and top with sprinkles and Reeces Pieces.
- Chill.
- Once chilled break apart and put into treat bags or a big bowl for serving.
Yummy Mummy Cookies
These Yummy Mummy Cookies are my kids favorite easy Halloween treats to make. They don’t take many ingredients and are done in no time. These cookies look like you put in lots of effort, but they are actually super simple.
Mummy Cookie Ingredients:
-chocolate and vanilla sandwich cookies
-white chocolate melts
–candy eyes
How to make Yummy Mummy Cookies
- Melt the white chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. Or melt in the double boiler if you prefer.
- Dip top of cookies into white chocolate and set aside.
- Pour white chocolate into a sandwich bag and cut the corner off. Use this to put mummy wrap on the cookie. Go across the cookie side to side to get the mummy look.
- Attach the candy eyes with chocolate.
- Chill.

Spooky Ghost Cookies
Taking a little help from the store saves time when making these Spooky Ghost cookies. You can use any kind of cookie dough you like and any color icing. Kids will love making these and eating them.
Ghost Cookie Ingredients:
-any kind of pre-made cookie dough, I used chocolate chip
-marshmallows
–black writing icing or food coloring pens
How To Make Spooky Ghost Cookies
- Bake cookies 1 min less than the package says.
- When you take them out put a marshmallow on top and bake for the last minute.
- Once you take them out of the oven push down on the marshmallow a little to help them melt into ghosts.
- Make a face with the black writing icing or food coloring markers.
Bag of Bones
Kids love playing with their food, so this is a great, easy Halloween treat to make. This Halloween treat takes a little more effort than the others, but it’s totally worth it! Kids really love this one.
Bag of Bones Ingredients:
-pretzel sticks
-white chocolate melts
-marshmallows
-black food coloring marker
How To Make Bag Of Bones Treat
- Melt the white chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. Or melt in a double boiler if your prefer.
- Dip pretzel sticks in white chocolate and chill.
- Draw a skeleton face on the marshmallow with the black food coloring marker.
- Once pretzels are hard, put pretzels and marshmallows in a treat bag and attach the “Bag of Bones” printable.
Each bag gets 1 head marshmallow, 1 blank marshmallow for the body and some pretzel sticks for building.
The kids can build a skeleton or just eat him! Or both!
