Oatmeal Almond Butter Chocolate Cups or Bars
One of my favorite things to do is come up with healthy snacks that my kids will love. My boys want junk food just as much as the next kid, so if I can make something healthy that also tastes great, that is a huge win! These Oatmeal Almond Butter Chocolate Cups do just the trick. They are good for you and delicious!

Oatmeal Almond Butter Chocolate Cups
Chocolate is one of my favorite things, especially dark chocolate, that is why I always like to keep some sweet treats on hand. One of my favorite treats to keep on hand are these Oatmeal Almond Butter Chocolate Cups. Creamy almond butter and dark chocolate, yum!

Instead of reaching for the store bought candy bars, I like to reach for treats made with clean ingredients. These are something that you can eat everyday and still feel great about. Those are my favorite kind of treats, like my Homemade Chocolate Almond Bark.
Chocolate Cup Ingredients
- 2 c quick cooking oats
- 3/4 c almond butter
- 2T honey
- 3/4 c mini dark chocolate chips
- 1T coconut oil
How to make Oatmeal Almond Butter Cups

First, put your oats into the blender and pulse a few times.
Once your oats are blended a little bit, add in almond butter and honey to the blender.
Pulse until well combined, set aside.
Place your chocolate chips and coconut oil into a small microwave safe bowl.
Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.
Now you are going to assemble your cups.
I used a small ice cream scoop or melon baller to make sure I got even amounts, but you can use a spoon if you don’t have those.
Evenly distribute the almond butter oat mixture into 18 cups.
Using your fingers, press down the almond butter oat mixture into the muffin pan.
Top each cup with chocolate.
FREEZE and ENJOY!
I like mine in the freezer but you could also put them into the refrigerator.

You can also make these as bars instead of cups if you are trying to save time. I do this all the time. Follow the same recipe but press them into a pan instead! This is shown in the video below. Easy!

Almond Butter Cup Substitutions
There are so many things you can do with this recipe. You can use any nut butter you like and there are so many different flavors of those too! You can also switch up the type of chocolate you use.
Toppings on top of the chocolate cups would also be delicious, such as coconut or nuts.
If you want to make sure this recipe is vegan, make sure to buy vegan chocolate.
For gluten free all you need to do is make sure your oats are gluten free.

I think it’s important to try to eat clean food as much as you can. That doesn’t mean everyone can do that all the time, but if you are able to your body will thank you. Ingredients
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats, gluten free oats for GF
- 3/4 cup almond butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
