Crispy cheese, bacon and no carbs?  You can’t go wrong with that!  Even if you are not on the Keto diet or eating low carb, this Keto Cheese Crisps with bacon recipe will become a new favorite!  You can make these in less than 10 minutes!

What is the Keto diet?

The ketogenic diet (keto) is a low carb, high fat diet that helps aid in weight loss.  The keto diet is supposed to work by eating very little carbs and a replacing those carbs with lots of fat.  Your body then goes into ketosis and burns fat rapidly. 

It is also said to help many different conditions and diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, acne and much more.  If you ask different people about the keto diet, you will hear different answers about it being good for you or not.  It’s one of those very popular diets that some people swear by and some people hate.  

If you decide to start the keto diet, do some research.  Be sure that it is right for you and talk to your doctor about it.

Keto Cheese Crisps with Bacon

Keto cheese chips are super easy to make and super versatile.  You can switch them up with whatever cheese you prefer, different toppings or different dips!  I love to make these chips to go along with my Skillet Spinach Artichoke Dip.

I really love chips, I could eat the entire bag, so I decided to make some keto chips instead.  I don’t following the keto diet fully but I do eat low carb because that’s what works for my body.  So having a low carb cheese crisps recipe is a must for me.  These cheese crisps actually have NO CARBS!

 

INGREDIENTS

-1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-1 tablespoon bacon bits
-1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

That’s it! I told you this recipe is super simple.  This would be the perfect recipe to get your kids into the kitchen to help. 🙂

 

Tools you might need   

 

These keto cheese crisps will come out so much better if you have a non-stick cookie sheet.  It makes them nice and crispy and they come right off the pan.

 

 

How to make Keto Cheese Crisps with Bacon

First, preheat your oven to 400°.

In a small mixing bowl, combine both cheeses and bacon bits.  Mix together.

Spray a non stick cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Next, using a table spoon, scoop the cheese onto to cookie sheet into small little piles.  It should make 10 piles.

Make sure you space your piles of cheese a couple inches apart.  They will melt and expand when they cook and you don’t want them to all melt together.

Put your cookie sheet into the oven for 6-8 minutes until the cheese is all melted and crispy.

When they are done in the oven, remove them and let them cool 5 minutes.

Keto Cheese Crisps with Bacon

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 6 minutes
Total Time 11 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon bacon bits
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a small mixing bowl
  3. Spray cookie sheet with non stick cooking spray
  4. Using a tablespoon, scoop out cheese and place into small piles on cookie sheet. See above post instructions on how to properly place cheese.
  5. Cook for 6-8 minutes
  6. Remove from oven, let cool 5 minutes
  7. ENJOY
